Redesign API website
At ProKarma, I led a project to create a new developer console as well as to redesign an outdated website for a telecommunications client, Syniverse. ProKarma was acquired by Catalyst shortly after I left.
Summary:
- Objective: Drive growth through modernizing products, processes, and technology, starting with a digital services platform.
- Methodologies: Performed competitive analysis. Created new design and architecture for corporate and support site ecosystem.
Original design
The old design for the web ecosystem created a lot of cognitive burden, including but not limited to:
- No consistent visual language. Complex imagery makes it difficult to understand offerings.
- Close element spacing made scannability difficult
- Less friendly design does not bring forth value or invite exploration
Modern design brings forth value, inviting exploration and driving growth:
- Consistent visual language
- Clear sign up call-to-action (CTA) button
- Simplifed information architecture, including navigation and megamenus
- Clear calls-to-action (CTAs)
- Clearly showcases API offerings and brings forth pricing to set expectations
- Tabbed interface to play with API directly on homepage
- Adds blogs and videos to get people exploring and discovering
Discover everything Syniverse has to offer!
The homepage provides a progressively discoverable experience, encouraging users to explore and deepen their engagement.
Clear, concise navigation
Streamlined information architecture ensures users can easily find what they are looking for.
Pricing can be fun!
The new pricing page encourages users to explore pricing possibilities, with a slider to estimate usage. This empowers them to accurately estimate their expected costs and reduces unwelcome billing surprises.
